Dear Eastside Dog and Cat Hospital,
We want to thank all of you for the care and devotion you gave Buddy these past 9
years and for your donation to the Morris Animal Foundation in honor of Buddy. The loss
of this true companion has been a very difficult process, but we can take comfort in
knowing that he brought so much joy and love to so many people. Buddy came to Barclay
Residence (Assisted Living for Seniors) from the Dog Warden 10 years ago and was the
love of not only our lives, but was the beloved friend to many residents, families, and
visitors. Buddy never spent a day in his life without a companion to visit with, play ball
with, or nap with. He touched many lives with his big heart, his wonderful personality,
and his love for people. What greater gift could he have given? Whenever there was a
party, or a performance, or visits from children’s groups, Buddy was right in the middle
of it all. We miss him very much, but we feel very blessed to have known this loving
friend, devoted companion, and beloved pet. Buddy will remain a part of our hearts and
cherished memories forever.
